Commercial Growth Representative

SUMMARY

The Commercial Growth Representative is responsible for handling assigned Pace Analytical Services accounts, achieving financial targets for those accounts, and managing inbound leads.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains revenue from assigned accounts to ensure clients in the maintenance classification are well supported, reducing attrition.
Generates new revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements; providing technical information; and developing maintenance and strategic accounts.
Assesses and qualifies inbound leads generated from the website and marketing programs to win new business.
Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information, and preparing quotations.
Creates new accounts and contacts from inbound programs and outbound research.
Follows standard operating procedures to document customer interactions.
Updates job knowledge by reviewing product information and participating in educational opportunities.
Supports departmental and organizational goals by taking ownership of new and diverse tasks.
Identifies opportunities to add value to job responsibilities.
Contributes to team effectiveness by offering suggestions and actively participating in team activities.
Promotes Pace’s mission by demonstrating professional, courteous, and cooperative behavior with customers and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field AND two (2) years of professional experience in environmental services or laboratory operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Technical knowledge of Pace products and services.
Methods to resolve sales and customer issues and concerns.
Applicable sales laws, codes, and regulations.

Relevant computer applications and systems.

Communication methods for working with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
Proper business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
