The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a trusted, family-owned wholesale distributor serving the low-voltage security industry to find an experienced Branch Manager to lead branch operations, drive sales growth, and build a high-performing team at their Chicago, IL location.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Schedule: Full-Time

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily branch operations, including sales, warehouse, inventory, and customer service
  • Maintain high customer service standards and resolve performance gaps
  • Partner with Sales leadership to support growth strategies, vendor relationships, and customer development
  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships
  • Oversee inventory health, including surplus, slow-moving, and discontinued products
  • Drive branch sales, gross profit, and key performance metrics
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members while supporting succession planning
  • Ensure accurate inventory control, merchandising, and showroom presentation
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
  • Communicate effectively with corporate leadership and cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5–7 years of sales experience
  • 1–3 years of management experience preferred
  • Experience in low-voltage industries, including fire & life safety, access control, surveillance, or voice/data
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Ability to travel occasionally and work some evenings or weekends (less than 10%)

Work Environment

  • Branch and warehouse setting with regular interaction with customers, staff, and inventory
  • Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs
  • Comfortable using standard office and warehouse equipment
