About the role

The Sales Operations Systems Analyst will support and continuously improve the systems, data, and reporting that power Mobia Medical's growing sales organization. This role will have hands-on responsibility for Salesforce administration, business systems support, reporting, and data analysis, helping ensure our commercial teams have accurate information and effective tools to make informed decisions.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how the business works, digging into problems, and finding practical ways to make systems and processes better. You'll partner directly with business users and cross-functional stakeholders to translate needs into solutions using Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI. You don't need to be a senior Salesforce expert or data scientist—we're looking for someone who is curious, analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated to continuously improve how we work.

What you'll do

Salesforce & Business Systems

  • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Salesforce, including fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, and permissions.
  • Partner with business users to understand requirements and translate business needs into practical system solutions.
  • Investigate system and data issues, identify root causes, and resolve data quality and workflow problems.
  • Support system testing, documentation, integrations, releases, and other business systems projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, system functionality, and the overall user experience.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
  • Analyze commercial data to identify trends, opportunities, inconsistencies, and areas requiring further investigation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions and determine the most effective way to answer them through data and reporting.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making.
  • Present findings in a way that is meaningful and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Business Systems, Commercial Operations, or a related function, including experience within the medical device, life sciences, or a related healthcare industry.
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience as an administrator, analyst, or power user.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, permissions, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and automation.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience developing reports or dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a desire to understand why something is happening, not simply what is happening.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to support process improvement, system enhancements, and change adoption.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow or other automation tools.
  • Experience with SQL, data transformation, CRM integrations, or data governance.
  • Experience supporting Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or other revenue-generating teams.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, documenting processes, or driving system adoption.

Success in this role means looking beyond the initial request to understand the underlying business need, taking ownership of problems through resolution, and delivering accurate, practical solutions that people actually use. You'll help create more reliable systems, better data, and clearer insights that enable Mobia Medical's commercial organization to operate efficiently and scale effectively.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Mobia Medical is unable to provide employment visa sponsorship.
