Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for an A Operator - Printing for our Wilmington, OH facility who will be responsible for meeting production standards and compliance with housekeeping and safety; work in a safe manner; responsible for producing product that meets or exceeds customers’ expectations, communicate all pertinent information to his/her relief.  Assist in assuring HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions, and Food Safety Quality system requirements (SQF) are in compliance.

Functional Responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting or exceeding goals on the machine.
• Ability to set up printing press in a timely manner.
• Identify, analyze, and accurately perform proper adjustments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Functional Requirements

• Ability to lift 35lbs.
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing in one place for an unlimited amount of time

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years in manufacturing preferred.

Skills

• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and accurately perform proper adjustments.
• Knowledge of multi-wall bags and the bag manufacturing process.
• Must have the ability to complete Hood Packaging’s bag school and/or certification process.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, ink cart, PH meter, and Zahn cup.
